Artivism

Artivism is a conceptual and multidisciplinary communications creator, that combines art and activism. Who discovers and creates spaces and words to define them in context.

I am:

-A free speech, free thought, speak out advocate

-Ambitious at being useful

-I literally wear my heart on my sleeve

-A little bit of everybody but a little bit more of myself

-In search of finding the common denominator = truth and connecting the invisible string that holds everything and everyone together = bond between us all

The finds: The I-D-As: The plans: The projects: The interactions:

My work:

-Is a regurgitation and in response to what I live, experience and witness daily as a human woman sharing this planet; socially, environmentally, & politically... did I miss anything?

-brings social, political, environmental and personal autobiographical issues to the streets, public and private spaces.

-Is mostly executed with found, gathered and gifted objects

-Projects sometimes take years, some come to me and within hours they happen!

-Any project no matter how quickly it's accomplished actually took my life until that moment to create.

-A common denominator in my work deals with interactivity, repetition, transparency, identity & the common denominator/collective voice of human beings

-The ideas come to me like a black and white photograph, a quick glimpse, a snapshot. Sometimes before I know how to make it and with what, other times after finding something and sitting on it for a while and many times after collecting something for some time.

How I make money to make free public Artivism:
-I create mirror micro projects related to the macro projects

*10% of everything sold goes to a different organization in the context of the Artivism work. *
